cranberry glassCranberry glass is a light pink or deep red glass color. It started to become popular after the American civil war. It was in the Victorian era though that really took off. By this time the craftsmen had a full understanding of how to make the glass and found out they could make an array of many items, from lamps, to goblets, to pitchers, decanters, and vases. Cranberry glass from these eras are most sought after by avid collectors. It is still made today, but with more modern methods.
